ProHealth Care Walks for Cancer
May 6, 2023 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
The annual ProHealth Care Walks for Cancer will return to three local parks this year for the first time since 2019. The Walks for Cancer will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, at Field Park in Mukwonago, Fowler Park in Oconomowoc and Frame Park in Waukesha. Each walk is approximately two miles long on a paved surface.
“We are thrilled to provide the walks in person again,” said Paula Jacobs, director of philanthropy. “We’re looking forward to seeing everyone together in the parks.”
Each year, the ProHealth Care Foundation organizes the Walks for Cancer to bring people together in support of cancer services at ProHealth. The funds raised are used for clinical trials, lifesaving equipment and technology, and other services for local patients and their families. Since the Walks for Cancer began, they have raised nearly $8 million.
On the day of the walks, on-site registration begins at 8 a.m., the program begins at 9:30 a.m. and the walks start at 10 a.m.
