Building Corporate Partnerships MASTERCLASS

Corporate fundraising is an area that a lot of charities are looking at to build sustainable income. But building those partnerships, talking about money, and negotiation can feel uncomfortable for many, meaning even the charities that get in the room with companies often leave value on the table. As a result, many potential partnerships never reach their full potential.

Following on from our Identifying Corporate Partnerships MASTERCLASS, this MASTERCLASS will look at how to build and create successful corporate partnerships for your charity. This starts with understanding what companies value and how charities can confidently position their work as a worthwhile investment rather than a donation.

This MASTERCLASS will demystify how to feel confident building these partnerships effectively, partnership pricing and negotiation. Using real world examples and business-to-business sales evidence, we will explore what companies are really looking for and how charities can design partnerships that help you achieve fundraising success.

This MASTERCLASS is designed for fundraisers and charitable organisations who want to secure stronger corporate partnerships, increase partnership income or improve their confidence when discussing money. It is suitable for people at all levels of experience and organisations of all sizes.

This 1-hour MASTERCLASS session will explore:

• Understand more about what companies actually want from charity partnerships
• Know how to create partnerships that companies see as valuable investments
• Learn how to price the assets and opportunities your charity can offer companies
• Identify the key questions your organisation needs to ask to build a breakthrough partnership strategy

This 1-hour webinar-style session will be delivered online via Zoom.

All attendees of the live Masterclass will receive a copy of the session recording. We will also make the recording available to purchase on-demand via our website after the session.

About the Trainer

Andy King is an award-winning storyteller. In July 2022, Fundraising Magazine named him ‘the most influential fundraiser in the UK’.

Andy’s passion is helping charities tell their most important stories to those with the power to change the ending. This has led him to kickstart corporate partnerships programmes from a standing start to a value of £450,000 per year in 18 months.

He has also transformed existing approaches to go beyond ‘logo-led’ fundraising with St. John’s Ambulance, UNESCO and Cancer Research UK.
