REGENCY BUILDERS CELEBRATES
54 YEARS IN BUSINESS

This year, Regency celebrates 54 years in business—a milestone that means far more than a number. Our industry has a 97% failure rate, second only to restaurants. In many cases, the custom home builder who built your dream home years ago is simply no longer in business.

Regency is still here

That matters because a home of this significance deserves a builder with staying power. We’ve been here since the day you first turned the key—available, accountable, and committed to the relationships we’ve built alongside the homes themselves.

That long-term perspective shapes everything we do. Today, we’re working with a family whose original Regency home was built in 1983. Together, we’re replacing it with a new custom home on the same estate lot. Projects like this require something that can’t be rushed: decades of accumulated knowledge about soil conditions, evolving permitting requirements, site-specific architectural design, and how to maximize the views, privacy, and amenities each unique property offers.

Not every builder can do that.

We’ve been doing it for 54 years.

Client Expectations

Our design process begins with an in-depth discussion of finishes, priorities, and expectations to establish an Honest Budget—with the goal of eliminating surprises throughout construction.

And when you write your final check, we don’t simply move on.

Eight years after completing one client’s home, we received a text about a leak. We were there by 9:00 a.m. the next morning. After crawling through the attic, we determined the cause was an unusually severe storm that had produced tornadoes in the area. We called the homeowner, who was traveling, to explain the situation personally and reassure him that everything was under control.

No builder is perfect. But how we respond to unexpected situations—years after a home is completed—is what truly defines us.

What Clients Want From Their Builder

Promises made. Promises kept.

When challenges arise, clients want honest communication, prompt answers, and practical solutions. They want to feel valued throughout the building process and long after they’ve moved in.

Our owners and team are personally invested in every home we build, treating each one as if it were our own. In the end, it comes down to trust—knowing we’ll stand behind our work and do exactly what we said we would do.

What a Past Client Recently Told Us

We recently golfed with a longtime client who sold their Regency home after 18 years to downsize. Because they already owned a lot, they were required to build with another builder.

During our round, they said, “We never realized how good we had it with Regency.” They went on to tell me their builder responded to a concern by saying, “If you wanted perfection, you should have built
with a custom home builder.”

They’re good friends, and all we could say was that we were sorry they had that experience.

Why Regency

For 54 years, we’ve remained intentionally small—a boutique, family-owned company dedicated to building refined custom homes one family at a time. While others have come and gone, we’ve remained committed to our clients, our craftsmanship, and the relationships that continue long after move-in day.

A Regency home is a generational home. And Regency is a generational builder—refined, experienced, and built to be here for whatever comes next.
