Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month with Milwaukee Public Library!
Community Art in the Alley with La Familia de Arte at Mitchell Street Library:
Tuesday, September 26, 2023 – 4:15 PM to 5:30 PM
Thursday, September 28, 2023 – 4:15 PM to 5:30 PM
Mitchell Street Library and La Familia de Arte invite you to collaborate in a public art piece celebrating our community! We’ll use tile, tools, and glaze to create your vision for a ceramic mosaic, to be installed in your new pedestrian alley space at the library this fall! This mosaic will ensure pedestrian safety and provide a colorful focal point to this outdoor community gathering space.
