Join us for live jazz, a 5-course meal curated by a local chef, and wine tasting in our garden oasis ✨

Experience an enchanting evening at Sanger House Gardens, where we invite you to indulge in a sensational 5-course dinner with wines paired by certified sommelier, Josh Steiner of Hemma Hospitality. On July 19th, our chef is Zach McFall of Bartlett Catering, a company curating bespoke and authentic dining experiences in Milwaukee and beyond.

As you savor each delectable dish, expertly paired wines from Hemma Hospitality, curated by Josh Steiner, will elevate your dining experience. Immerse yourself in the soothing melodies of live jazz by the wonderful and talented Don Linke.

About Bartlett Catering:

Bartlett was created out of the need to curate bespoke, intimate experiences that rarely happen inside the restaurant. At Bartlett, we bring the restaurant to you. Zach McFall, chef and owner at Bartlett has been in the apron for over 15 years spending time in New York, Washington, Minneapolis, and now back to his home state of Wisconsin fulfilling his culinary dreams. Bartlett takes pride in its local approach to food sourcing from farms, farmers’ markets, and within their own foraging program. Zach and his team are ready to create dining delights anytime, anywhere.

About Don Linke:

Don has 35 years of experience teaching bachelor’s and master’s degree candidates at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and the Peck School of Arts at UW-Milwaukee. Both a guitarist and bassist, Don continues to enchant jazz lovers while performing. His group Trialogue has released four albums in the last 5 years and a fifth is due in the summer of 2023.

Arrival for the event will be 5:30 pm with dinner served at 6:30 pm.

Menu for the evening:

First Course: Shaved fennel and arugula salad. Orange segment. Chili flakes. Hazelnuts.

Second Course: Grilled asparagus. Herbed ricotta. Charred shishito and sugar snap pea “salad” pea tendrils. Watercress oil, watercress garnish

Third Course: Warm pork belly. Grilled watermelon. Togarashi. Pickled strawberries. Green curry sauce.

Fourth Course: Beef tenderloin. Parsnip puree. Roasted mushrooms. Pickled radicchio. Au Poivre sauce.

Fifth Course: Strawberry Shortcake. Maple whip.
