Muskego 4th of July Celebration

Come out and celebrate Independence Day with the Water Bugs. The Muskego Water Bugs will be hosting an awesome firework display. Your family will not want to miss this Muskego 4th of July Celebration on July 3rd, 2023. Mark your calendars!

Muskego 4th of July Celebration Details

• Event is on Monday, July 3rd  (not the 4th)

• No on-site parking at Idle Isle

  • • All traffic wishing to drop off at Idle Isle Park will enter Muskego Dr. from Martin Dr.  

    • Hardtke Dr. will be closed 

    • Park Arthur entrances on Martin Dr. only 

    • The highlighted green areas are acceptable parking in Park Arthur 

    • The highlighted red areas are posted no parking in Park Arthur

• Parking at Park Arthur staring at 2:30pm ($5) 

• Free shuttle service

• Idle Isle will be closed until 3:00pm sharp

• No public launch at Idle Isle all day

• Water Ski Show at 6:00pm

• Concessions for purchase provided by Water Bugs

• Beverages for purchase provided by Tailspin

• Fireworks at dark

Muskego 4th of July Celebration Announcement from the Water Bugs:

The Muskego Water Bugs, in association with the Little Muskego Lake District, will be hosting the annual July 3rd fireworks show. The fireworks will be launched from a barge on Little Muskego Lake with viewing occurring from land and water. Limited parking will be available on city streets surrounding the lake, however there will not be any parking for vehicles with trailers on city streets. Park Arthur will be open for parking and viewing at 2:30pm.

Food and beverages will be available. Garbage cans, hot coal receptacles, and porta potties will be available. The Muskego Water Bugs will direct the parking and will ask for a $5 donation to help offset the cost of the event. Viewing of the fireworks can occur from anywhere on Idle Isle. All traffic will enter Park Arthur from Martin Drive and will exit on College Ave following the fireworks. No re-entry will be allowed. 

We are happy that we are able to continue the tradition of the July 3rd festival, show, and fireworks at Idle Isle in 2023. Funding for the event is provided by the Water Bugs and the Little Muskego Lake District as well as some generous donors through the Friends of the Water Bugs on Facebook.
