STEEZ is a popular five-piece funk/jam band from Madison, Wisconsin, known for their high-energy “Creepfunk” style, blending electronic, improvisational, and danceable funk with originals and covers, featuring members like Matt Williams (keys), Steve Neary (guitar/vocals), Alex Roberts (drums), Chris Sell (bass), and Andrzej Benkowski (sax/keys). Formed by UW-Madison students, they built a strong Midwestern following through festivals and venues, praised for their musicianship and camaraderie, balancing touring with studio albums.
